Wind Willow Farm is a twelve acre property in Jefferson County, Wisconsin but the Bowers family lived in Webster Groves, Missouri, Chicago, Illinois, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and now Cocoa Beach, Florida. Flowers have inspired the author to paint and teach in watercolor. She is a founding member of the Brevard Count Watercolor Society and member of the Transparent Watercolor Society. Her interest in writing and painting run side by side, color the unifying factor. She has written two novels and several childrens book. Donna Lee Bowers lives with her husband Richard with whom they have four children and twelve grandchildren.
